
We are excited to announce we are going to be doing a mini fall festival for our students on Friday, October 27. You can help us by donating candy for the booths. If you are able, please send in an unopened bag/s of individually wrapped candy. We have over 800 students and approximately 15 booths that will need the treats.


Kona Ice will be at our school on Oct 19. We ask that you pay ahead if possible as this is easier for the students and the staff.

The end of the first quarter is right around the corner. We have one week to earn our 1st quarter attendance goal of 90%, earning a Glow Part on October 24th.

Our 1st Grade had the opportunity to host an event for our officers in the west end of the district. Thank you to all of our officers who serve.









We had a fabulous Open House and Title I meeting on Tuesday. Thank you to all the parents and students who came out and thank you to our staff for opening up the school for all.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Next month, on October 28th, 2023, we will have three local drop-off locations in our area, open from 10AM to 2PM :
Interlachen Location: TMT Auto Clinic, 1117 SR-20
Crescent City Location: Winn-Dixie, 1115 N. Summit Street
Palatka Location: HCA Putnam, 611 Zeagler Drive
Unsecured, unused or expired prescription medications can lead to accidents, misuse, addiction, and pose serious risks to our students. We would like to encourage parents and guardians to: Locate and securely store their medications at home, ensuring they are out of reach of children and adolescents & Identify and dispose of any medications that are unwanted or have expired dates.



Consent for Flu Vaccines were sent home. The deadline to return the completed form is Friday, 09/29/23 if you are interested in your student receiving this service.

All PCSD schools will be closed on Wednesday, August 30th and Thursday, August 31st. All extracurricular activities are cancelled beginning Tuesday, August 29th. Our plan is to resume all activities on Friday, September 1st.
The following shelters will open Tuesday, August 29th ay 5:00PM: Jenkins Elementary (general population), Ochwilla Elementary (pets), Kelley Smith Elementary (special needs only), Browning-Pearce Elementary (general population), Middleton-Burney Elementary (general population). The shelter at QI Roberts will NOT be open at this time.
