If your child will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, they are eligible to enroll in our high-quality Pre-K program.
Our Pre-K classes are available at:
📍 Central Area: Mellon Learning Center
📍 West End: Robert H. Jenkins Elementary, Ochwilla Elementary, Melrose Elementary
📍 South End: Middleton-Burney Elementary

✔️ The State of Florida covers the first 3.5 hours of Pre-K.

PCSD Mental Wellness Department will offer Family Therapy on Tuesdays, starting May 27, 2025. The group will meet for a five-week series. To sign up to participate or get additional information please call 386-312-2286.


Pre-K Round Up begins tomorrow, March 25, 2025. Applications will be available in the front office at Jenkins Elementary School. Please bring the following documents: Certificate of eligibility, birth certificate, proof of residence, driver license or valid ID.

The Grinch's heart grew three sizes on Friday, December 13, 2024, as he passed out books to students at Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. Elementary after lunch on behalf of The United Way of St. Johns and Delores Barr Weaver Fund. We are grateful for their generous donation and support of our students.










Students at Robert H. Jenkins Elementary served their community on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Sixth grade students participated in the Wreathes Across America Ceremony. Students hung wreathes on the gravestones of Veterans in Pine View and Sister Springs Cemeteries. To all Veterans, we thank you for your service.










We will have a small Santa's Shop at our Winter holiday NIght on Thursday, December 12, from 5:00-6:30 PM. Nothing is over $5. We will not accept large bills, so please bring change and dollars. No bills over $5. It will be a CASH ONLY shop.


Kona Ice Pre-Pay ends today. If you miss the deadline, students may pay $3 (EXACT CHANGE ONLY PLEASE) to their homeroom teacher. No monies will be collected in the front office on Friday.
