Congratulations to two of the most selfless people on our campus. Mrs. Elsagga was named our Teacher of the Year and Mrs Brock was named our School Related Employee of the Year. Both of our school representatives are deserving of this recognition and we can't wait to see them shine at the district level!

🌟 October is National Principals Month! 🌟
In Putnam County, our principals do more than manage schools — they inspire futures. They guide teachers, encourage students, partner with families, and bring communities together so learning can thrive. Their leadership makes a lasting impact on every classroom and every child.
This month, and every month, we celebrate our PCSD principals for leading with heart, vision, and dedication. Thank you for helping us shape tomorrow, today. 💙💚

Attendance Matters: FTE Week is October 6–10!
Every student counts–literally! During FTE Week, the state of Florida calculates school funding based on student attendance. If a student is absent, they are not included in the count, and our schools lose vital funding for teachers, programs, and services.
Make sure your child is in school every day October 6–10! Together, we can give PCSD students the resources they need to succeed.

We had an amazing couple of days at Robert H. Jenkins, Jr. Elementary School. It was such a joy to see so many dads, uncles, older brothers, grandfathers or other father figures today and yesterday eating breakfast with the students. We shared some tips and reminders of how important it is to just SHOW UP. You don't have to do everything perfect; they only want you to be there. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to partner with us to support OUR KIDS. We hope the QR Code we gave you with resources is invaluable. You can also find resources to help your child at https://www.putnamschools.org.

We are looking for sponsors to help our newly restored PTO host a Fall Festival for our students and families. This is a rather large undertaking so there are many ways you can help us. Please reach out to the school if you would like to sponsor a booth or donate things we will need. Also, we are looking for parent help to run a booth. Thank you all so much for letting us partner with you to bring fun and laughter for your children as well as promote their academic success.
