IJSHS JROTC kicks off their archery season! Over the last two weeks, Cadets have learned about range safety, range operations and how to be successful as an archer. Discipline, confidence and determination led them to successfully firing arrows into targets from 7-10 meters. The Interlachen JROTC Archery Team, last year's Area 1 victors, begin practice on Tuesday, March 5th with the competitive season ending in May! Good luck Cadets!

Hello IJSHS Families! We are about to get into the season of testing! For the next three months and until school finishes this year, we will have many different required assessments taking place. In this post you will find March, April, and May "Testing Dates" lists! Please save these for future reference. (You might even share the post to your own page so that you can refer to it later.) Please encourage students to take each assessment seriously as many are part of graduation requirements. It is also important that students are here at school every day from this point forward as teachers will be reviewing for the tests, and we hope you will help us with student attendance and being here on time. The night before any test, have students lay out their clothes and go to bed early so that they get plenty of rest. Also, make sure they have a healthy breakfast the morning of the assessment(s). If you have any questions, please let us know! THANK YOU!

9 students from IJSHS attended Oral Arguments for 3 cases at the 5th District Court of Appeals today. They heard cases that ranged from family court matters to excessive fine cases. They enjoyed interacting with the judges and lawyers between cases. Huge shoutout and thank you to Judge Boatwright for having them! #riseasone #goRams

Please don't forget that the Progress Reports for the 3rd 9-week grading period go home TODAY! Parents/guardians, please review grades with students. They have approximately 4 weeks until the end of Quarter 3, so they have plenty of time to bring up any grades that are lower than they'd like them to be. Please talk to your child(ren) about this and make a plan NOW! Reach out to teachers through Rooms/Thrillshare with any questions you have, or call to schedule a conference if needed. Thanks for your continued support! 😁
