"Retirement is not the end of a journey, but the beginning of a new one!" ~Unknown
Today we celebrated two amazing people, Peggy Halsey and Gerald Stradling, as they retired from outstanding service in our school system. Words cannot express how truly appreciated and loved they both are by our IJSHS faculty and staff, family, and friends. The turnout was amazing, and we wish them nothing but the very best in their next chapter!
Keep writing your story, friends! You deserve the very best! ❤️
Our amazing IJSHS Cafeteria Staff surprised our students with a fun welcome this morning in the bus loop! 🤣 We are so thankful for them with their positive spirit and always doing whatever they can for our students! ❤️ #RiseAsOne

The IJSHS JROTC Team finished their regular season on May 17th with a second place finish in North Central Florida! The team represented IJSHS and the Interlachen community with distinction on their way to a 5 win and 1 loss record.
Way to go Cadets! We are so very proud of you!

Incredible talent at the IJSHS Talent Show today, and an even more amazing crowd of massive peer support! There were singers, a student band, an accordion player, and cheerleaders who all performed beautifully!
The students were charged a canned food item (to support a local food bank) to get in and had to have a record of good behavior. While only 3 acts were technically "winners" of the show, the gym was full of winners in our eyes! Way to go Rams!

Mrs. Bogden's first period students were rewarded for showing up and giving their all on the Cambridge General Paper Assessment! For their efforts, Mrs. Bogden treated them to an awesome breakfast at True Grits! Way to go students, and huge thanks to Mrs. Bogden!
Seniors, please save the dates! We don't want you to miss out on anything coming up for the remainder of the year!

The JROTC Archery Team was back in action this week led by Cadet Captain Logan Sanders, and posted its highest season score! The Archery Team continues its regular season with a head-to-head match against William R. Raines on Thursday. On Friday, May 17, Interlachen Junior-Senior High School hosts the top six Central Florida Archery Teams for an end-of-season tournament.
Go Cadets!
