Alongside is a Tier 1 intervention for all middle school students to receive help from an AI chat box when they feel overwhelmed or stressed. This program is created and monitored by mental health professionals and school personnel. We hope students in middle school will feel encouraged to use it as indicated. Interlachen JROTC program gears up for a Home Raider Event!
Interlachen JROTC Raiders and Cadets are getting ready for a Historical event for their program. For the first time in at least 18 years the Interlachen Raiders will be hosting their first JROTC Raider competition at Interlachen Junior-Senior High School. The event will be set up and operated by JROTC Cadets and Cadre from Palatka High School, Crescent City High School and Interlachen Junior Senior High
School to emphasize cadet led events. This event will involve the JROTC Raiders from Interlachen and Palatka Raider Teams and 11 other schools from North Central Florida.
This grand event is possible from the recent positive growth on the Interlachen Raider Program over the last 2 years; with the help of their former Raider Commander Aiden McPhadden and SAI LTC Korey Brown. The new Raider Commander C/CPT John Sanders has been working with the current Interlachen Junior Senior High School Raiders to get them ready for the competition as well as continuing to improve the entire JROTC Cadet Program.
Come on out and root for your Interlachen JROTC Raiders on Saturday, September 23rd, from 8AM to 2PM to support your Putnam County Raider teams and enjoy great barbeque from our vendors! We hope to see you there!

Yesterday, Mrs. Brown's AVID classes played the "Bird Box Challenge" for Framework Friday! The students used their communication and teamwork skills as they guided their blindfolded classmate through the class challenges. They even sharpened their directional skills! Way to go, Mrs. Brown and students!
