Congratulations to D’Asia Evans for being selected as a Florida Sunshine State Scholar!
D’Asia is a junior at Q.I. Roberts Jr-Sr High School. Principal Joe Theobold shares, “D'Asia is an amazing student and yet another example of excellence here at Q.I. She has been a model student and is a great representative of the education available here in Putnam County. She is extremely determined to follow a career as a doctor after College and Medical School, and I have learned that, when D'Asia determines to do something, she gets it done with style. We are so proud of her accomplishments and I know amazing things are in store for her moving forward."
D'Asia and her family attended a recent weekend event for all Florida Sunshine State Scholars that included workshops, a recruitment fair, STEAM activities, and an awards ceremony.
