QI Roberts Jr-Sr High School students attended the Coding in the Capitol Day accompanied by their teacher, Chris Cantrell.
Coding in the Capitol Day is an opportunity for Florida policy makers to learn more about K-12 computer science education in Florida and about the proposed legislation to expand access to all students. Attendees and Legislators were able to learn how to code from a Florida student by participating in the Hour of Code.
Superintendent, Dr. Rick Surrency, was also able to join the event.
Students attending were: Rennie Chen, Joshua Murrow, Leah Zabad, Brandyn Brown, Parth Patel, Dylan Wilkes, Derrick Holland, Riley and Regan Blackmer, Hayden Edwards, Andrew Walwik & William Coleman.
