Principal Tracy Taylor shares how Alexia Sha'nes Roberts shines at Mellon Learning Center!
Alexia is 16 year old junior in Ms. Theresa Burge's classroom. She is a member of the MLC Escort Squad, where she is responsible for any student on our campus who needs assistance getting to class.
In the mornings, she meets the Pre-K bus students, helps them in line, and ensures that they safely transition to the cafeteria for breakfast. She also works in one of our Pre-K classrooms as a volunteer, assisting and reading to the students as directed by their teacher.
