The Putnam County School District hosted a successful District-Wide Career Fair today at the C.L. Overturf Jr. District Center, welcoming over 30 prospective candidates eager to join the mission of shaping the future of education in Putnam County.
With tables representing schools and departments across the district, the event offered a warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff from every corner of PCSD—teachers, support staff, administrators, and district leaders—were present to greet guests, answer questions, and share what makes PCSD a great place to work.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, explore a wide range of open positions, and even participate in a few on-site interviews. From educators and student support professionals to transportation and facilities staff, the fair showcased the many ways individuals can make a difference in the lives of students.
Adding a sweet touch to the day, each participant received a refreshing cup of Sassy’s Lemonade—a crowd favorite that made the experience even more memorable.
“We’re excited about the talent and enthusiasm we saw today,” shared Tonya Whitehurst, Assistant Superintendent, Business Operations. “From new connections to purposeful conversations, every guest was welcomed with hospitality and a shared vision for building a strong future for our schools.”
