Mia Paul

Crescent City Jr.-Sr. High School senior Mithila (Mia) Paul, a Take Stock in Children scholar and member of the Superintendent’s Advisory Council, received an incredible surprise on Monday, December 9th! Mia was announced as one of just 12 finalists statewide for the prestigious Asofsky Foundation Leaders for Life Fellowship. This remarkable achievement highlights Mia’s academic success, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

During the surprise celebration, representatives from Take Stock in Children, CCJSHS staff, and Mia’s family gathered to honor her achievement. Mia was presented with a brand-new MacBook Pro as part of her recognition. This moment was filled with joy and inspiration, moving everyone in attendance.

As a finalist, Mia is now in the running to become one of six Leaders for Life Fellows who will receive unparalleled mentorship, leadership training, professional development, and up to $10,000 annually to cover unmet needs at a four-year public university in Florida.

Congratulations, Mia, on this well-deserved honor! Your hard work and dedication continue to make PCSD proud.
