eSports

The QI Roberts Apex Legends team has proudly advanced as one of the top 8 teams to compete at the Midwest Fest Tournament on June 8th in Kansas City, Missouri, at the Hy-vee Arena. This achievement was secured in the High School eSports League (HSEL) Spring season, with their skilled roster comprising Caleb Dyer, Kadin Iocco, and Shane Beard.

Another fantastic achievement, under the leadership of Coach Christopher Cantrell, is the Halo team clinching first place last night during the Spring Major Championship. The team members are Wiley Hall, Kadin Iocco, Jacob Hines, Caleb Dyer, and Coach Cantrell. Their teamwork and dedication have made QI and PCSD a force in eSports nationwide.

Currently, all our high schools participate in the HSEL, and we are exploring the possibility of extending our eSports program into the Middle School Esports League (MSEL) for grades 7 and 8, with funding from the IT Department. This expansion will further enhance our commitment to developing eSports and ultimately technology-driven opportunities for our students.
