2024 Product of Putnam

In a heartfelt celebration of community excellence, the Putnam County School District recently honored seven outstanding individuals as recipients of the esteemed "Product of Putnam" award for 2024. These exceptional honorees, all graduates of the Putnam County School District, have made remarkable contributions to various fields, embodying the values of leadership, service, and community engagement.

The "Product of Putnam" program, now in its sixth year, aims to recognize former students who serve as exemplary role models for current students. This year's awardees were selected from nominations submitted by community members and reviewed by a panel comprising representatives from PCSD and the Palatka Daily News.

Agriculture: Larry H. Corn

Larry H. Corn, a graduate of Palatka South High School in 1969, has been a pillar of the agricultural community in Putnam County for over five decades. As the owner of Corn Farms and Farm Manager at L&M Farms, Larry's commitment to quality and sustainability has earned him recognition as a leader in vegetable production. Beyond his agricultural endeavors, Larry is actively involved in supporting youth organizations, conservation efforts, and community initiatives, making him a deserving recipient of the Product of Putnam award in the Agriculture category.

Business: Terrill Hill

Terrill Hill, a 1990 graduate of Palatka High School, has left an indelible mark on the business landscape of Palatka. As the city's first full-time black lawyer and former Mayor, Terrill's leadership and dedication to public service are exemplary. Community Service: Mark Motl
