Before you apply

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING FOR A SPECIFIC POSITION

 

1.  Vacancy notices are listed on-line at putnamschools.org and may be found by clicking on the jobs button.

 

2.  To be considered for a position, applicants must be 18 years of age and complete the on-line application process. To be considered for most positions you must have a GED or high school diploma.                                                                                                                                                                         

 NOTE:  It is the applicant's responsibility to keep their on-line application information up to date.  To apply for another position in the future, the applicant must sign on to their account and apply for the new position utilizing the application information that has already been submitted.  You do not need to create a new application each time you apply for a position.

 

3.  It is important you understand the Criminal Record Section  MUST be completed in full stating all arrests, dispositions, and any charges still pending.  UPON RECOMMENDATION FOR EMPLOYMENT, you are required to be fingerprinted.  A background search will be made by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.  

All fingerprinting and background checks will be processed via Fieldprint.  To schedule an appointment, please follow these simple instructions:

     a)  Visit www.fieldprintflorida.com

     b)  Click on the Schedule an Appointment button

     c)  Enter an e-mail address under New Users/Sign Up and click the Sign up button.  Follow the instructions for creating a password and security question and then click Sign up and Continue.

     d)  Select I know my Fieldprint Code and enter the code given to you by your employer/service provider or select Enter Fieldprint Code from the drop-down menu and enter the code.

     e)  Enter the contact and demographic information required by the FBI and schedule an appointment at the location of your choosing.

     f)  At the end of the process, print the confirmation page.  Take the confirmation page with you to your appointment, along with two forms of identification.
