The guidance report will be used to examine districts' development and implementation of guidance plans, promising practices, and to identify technical assistance needs.

Section 1006.025, Florida Statutes references the need to improve guidance and counseling programs to ensure that all students in the K-12 system are properly informed and prepared for their future careers regardless of whether they intend to train for those careers in a traditional college setting or through workforce education.

Reporting Requirements for No Child Left Behind (NCLB). The USDOE requires each local school district to report information to parents regarding the level of participation in options available through NCLB. This document reports the number of students eligible to transfer from a school in need of improvement (Choice with Transportation) and the number of students eligible to receive free tutoring services (Supplemental Educational Services). It also reports the number of students electing either option. View Report ( 2008 -2010)

Due to the performance of your child's school on the FCAT, your child may be eligible to receive free tutoring or transfer to another school.
