The Federal Programs Office administers the following Programs under the ESSA Act of 2015:

  • Title I - Improving the Academic Achievement of the Disadvantaged
  • Title II
  • Title III - Language Instruction for Limited English Proficient and Immigrant Students
  • Title IV
    • Part A Title IV 2019-2020 Authorizes activities in three areas: Providing students with a well-rounded education (e.g. STEM, arts, civics, IB/AP, health and physical education), supporting safe and healthy students (e.g. school mental health, drug and violence prevention, training on trauma-informed practices, health and physical education), and supporting the effective use of technology (e.g. professional development, blended learning, technology devices).
    • Part B - 21st Century Learning Centers 2018-2020 Funds from this source are used for :Academic Enrichment. Personnel will be employed to help students with homework, tutoring, and academic enrichment. College and Career Readiness. Each student will work in a small group with a mentor to set goals and learn about essential skills for college and career readiness.  Mentors will talk with students about current progress towards their goals including grades, attendance, and test scores. STEAM Enrichment. Students will be able to choose from among several STEAM-related enrichment activities such as coding, chess,   leadership in public service, manufacturing, environmental sciences, robotics, arts, aviation, a Bicycle Club, and participation in a MakerSpace. Other enrichment activities will be considered in the areas of STEAM as interest arises. Visit the 21st Century STEAM Site

These programs serve the children in all schools in Putnam County. The Federal Programs Office is located at 1416 McClellan St., Palatka, Florida and can be found on the southwest corner of the Moseley Elementary School campus.
